Attention : The most surprising thing is how many are surprised ? Since it's beginnings Pro Cycling and and drug usage have been , are and will continue to walk hand in hand. Especially in Europe ! Most of the big races one day and or tours began as race / lets have a blast party adventures. In the early 1900's rider / racers would do shots of booze laced with cocaine while on the bike racing. During the 1950's & 60's speed of all types was regular operating procedure. Then came steroids , and now the newest kid on the block EPO. Get on the internet and look it up , almost EVERY single famous Pro Pedal Pusher for the last 100 years admits (Eddy Merckx included) or have been proven to have used drugs and or packed blood during their careers. Me personally I care about the Rolling Stones doing drugs as much as I care about Pro Cyclist doing drugs. FACT: Cyclist and the Stones seemed to have done their best works while doping. Lances biggest problem (and I'm a fan) is that he is a jerk . Plus now looks so foolish by continuing to lie. Cat is out of the bag MEOW ! He won those 7 tours and beat his rivals & drug tests (which are a joke) fair and square. Accept Pro Cycling's entire history involves drugs and Lance's career is is no different than any other cyclist or consider the entire sport a farce, but don't blindly believe Lances lie or dream of a sport that does not involve chemicals. Reality is what actually is don't be fooled by imitation !!!
